A website should solve a business problem
The work starts with the decision the site must help a visitor make. We clarify the audience, offer, proof, conversion path, content ownership, and technical constraints before treating pages as decoration. The result can be a focused marketing site, a service-led local site, or a careful redesign of an existing property.
Cristrage is based in Fort Myers and works with businesses across the United States. Local relevance is written from verified business facts—not a fabricated office, review, or neighborhood claim.
What the engagement can include
- positioning and page strategy;
- information architecture and conversion paths;
- visual design that fits the brand rather than a template trend;
- Astro development for fast static delivery;
- responsive and accessibility QA;
- analytics-ready events and technical SEO foundations;
- redirect planning and launch verification for redesigns.
Why Astro
Astro is a build framework, not a visual style. It lets us ship mostly static HTML with component-based maintenance and only the browser JavaScript a page actually needs. That is useful for content-heavy marketing sites, but the stack is selected around the project—not used as a reason to redesign the brand.
A safer redesign process
A redesign can improve clarity while damaging search visibility if URLs, internal links, metadata, or crawl signals disappear. We inventory the current site, map every important URL, preserve or redirect it deliberately, and compare the production release against the approved source. Google’s own site-move guidance emphasizes URL mapping, redirects, and monitoring; those are release requirements, not cleanup for later.
Start with the constraint
Bring the existing site, the business objective, and what is not working. The first conversation is used to determine whether the real need is design, content, development, measurement, or a smaller repair.
